Since 1976, OBA has focused on developing students who have a strong foundation. This foundation starts with a kindergarten curriculum that builds the basic skills of reading, writing, and math.

The phonetic reading program used by our teachers helps students to be reading before they finish kindergarten. Student also learn to count by 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s to 100 along with other math skills. Students learn in a fun, safe environment where teachers are able to give lots of individual attention. Kindergarten at OBA is a great way for students to prepare for the rigors of the next 12 years of school.

Our teachers also lovingly teach the four-year-old kindergarteners the basics of learning in a classroom. The K4 students also begin to learn the K5 material and many even begin reading before the end of the year.

Kindergarten is a 4-full-day program (Monday - Thursday). Before and after school care are also available.
