School Verse

Isaiah 40:31

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Admissions Policy

OBA is designed for the education of children whose parent(s) have a clear testimony of salvation, desire that their children be conformed to the image of Christ, and require high academic standards in a structured, disciplined environment (Romans 12:1-2). Therefore, if students applying for admission to OBA have yet to make a personal profession of faith in Christ at the time the application is submitted, at least one parent or legal guardian must be saved and in agreement with OBA’s doctrinal and philosophical position.

Students applying for Grades 9-12 will be asked for a statement of their salvation experience on their application and during a personal interview with the administrator prior to their admission to OBA. Secondary students who have not yet trusted Christ as Savior, but whose Christian parent(s) desire their salvation and agree with our school’s Statement of Faith will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be accepted for a trial period of time. Final approval is subject to the Board of Elders of The Church of the Open Bible.
